There are big events that happen throughout the year in Everybody's Stranger (like Stardew Valley), and I wanted to make sure to include one in the game's demo. So, in early spring, your character can participate in the Annual Swamp Skip.
The Inn's regulars and some of the devoted townfolk make their way out to the swamp to join in events and enjoy the the swamp's quaint ambience. You can participate in the following:
Stone Skipping Competition
Remember the last time you skipped a stone? I don't. But I definitely never did it in a swamp. Can you beat Bartholomew, the reigning champion?
Baking Competition
Peggy informs you that as the new Innkeeper, you'll be judging this year's baking competition (think Great British Baking Show). Whose dessert will reign supreme?
Character Showcase: Xazisvyar
Class: Fighter
Favorite Dish: Rack of Lamb
Description: Xazisvyar cares as much about the quality of his shoes as he does his sword, and both are pristine and elegant. He's a fighter by profession, but a lover in most things.
Voice Actor: James, my nextdoor neighbor, is a magnificent rocket scientist while also managing to voice this boistrous sword fighter.
